The last version of the code I posted was flawed due to the threading which caused the program to crash on some peoples computers. Due to the small process of work that actually needs to be done I have converted the code to utilize the backgroundworker component instead of threads. I have got no reports of crashes from anyone that has tested the new version. I have also implemented a simple feature for naming the mp3's based off the transcoder text fields, and have also handled the HD (256 kbps) downloads as well. All simple things really. Sorry for anyone who tried to use the last version and had it crash on them. Hope this works better for you.

Windows 7 SP1 info, release date reported

Despite generating a good vibe around the world, Windows 7 is still facing the resilience of certain sectors (businesses) of upgrading to a new operating system before it received a significant update, like a Service Pack. Due to this situation Microsoft has been working hard on bringing the first SP for Windows 7 to market as soon as possible, and according to one report that means September (2010). This is pretty much in line with previous rumors that claimed Microsoft is targeting an autumn 2010 release for Win 7 SP1.

The upcoming pack will contain all updates delivered by Microsoft until its RTM date and is expected to bring WiFi and Bluetooth updates, as well as USB 3.0 support. Other minor enhancements are expected too but overall, Service Pack 1 shouldn't be a very flashy release. A welcomed one, but nothing game-changing.
